Myths and facts about homoeopathy
Unveiling the truth about homoeopathy which has become translucent now a days, covered in the mist of the fictions created by some people who do not want to let the benefits of homoeopathy reach the common people.
I am trying to bring some clarity through my words.
1- Homoeopathy is slow
Many people think that homoeopathy works slowly but as per our aphorism 2 homoeopathic cure is RAPID GENTLE and PERMANENT. Also, it works in the shortest, most reliable and most harmless way.
2- Use of alcohol
Homoeopathic medicines are administered mostly in alcohol, but it doesn't mean that it has some intoxicating effect on patient. Alcohol is one of the best preservers known to man and it doesn't have any intoxicating effect on the patient as it is well processed before it reaches to the patient.
Alcohol is just a vehicle with all the ideal properties, which are to be chemically neutral, therapeutically inert, no medicinal properties of its own, harmless and so on.
3- Globules doesn't work
There is a perception among people and some homoeopaths too that globules work less effectively than dilution which is not true.
Cardinal principle of homoeopathy clearly states about minimum dose, as the minimum does possible is recommend avoiding aggravation to the patient and the prevents the organic damage.
4- Improper follow-up
As soon as people get some relief, they do not prefer the follow up and keep repeating the same medicine for a long time, but only a true homoeopath know when to stop, repeat or change the remedy.
Most of the disease now a days have become miasmatic and therefore the basic treatment plan follows first treating symptomatically, then treating the miasm and sometimes including intercurrent remedy.
5- Zero side effect
It is widespread that homeopathy has no side effects, but it should be taken for granted as it definitely has least but some long-term side effects.
Eg- Silicea is a well-known polychrest remedy but if used in a wrong way can cause organic changes in the patient.
If used improperly as per the case it can aggravate may turn fatal.
E.g. In the cases of burn, cantharis Q is applied locally, but for the oral administration it is given in other potencies like 30 or 200.
6- Aggravation is Normal
There is a general concept that homoeopathic medicines first ameliorate then cures, which is true, but only in the case of homoeopathic aggravation.
Only a homoeopath can determine whether the aggravation is homoeopathic, medicinal or killer. Also, the aggravation varies in acute and chronic cases.
7- Homoeopathy is a placebo
Homoeopathy is often considered a pseudoscience or just a placebo effect which is entirely untrue as it is based on mathematico-mechanical process. In short potentization is the basic concept and the science behind homoeopathy.
On the basis of Avogadro's number, the presence of material in homoeopathic medicine beyond molecular concentration 10 or 12 becomes negative. Thus, in potentization process due to absorption of electromagnetic waves, very light isotopic molecules of medicinal material are created, these molecules retain the properties of original drug substances.
The particles of the medicine, the medium vehicle are in motions, so, the relative expression for the medicine particles may be written as:
E² = (PC)² + (M₀C²)², where
E = Total energy of the free particle of the medicine, i.e.,
E = mC² = K + m₀C² = Energy due to external work + Rest energy
P = Relative momentum of the medicine particle
m₀ = Rest mass of medicine particle.
C = Velocity of light
m = Mass of the free particle of the medicine
If m₀ = 0, the above relativistic relation is reduced to,
E = PC.
P = mu = m₀u ÷ √(1 − u²/c²)
In order to have non-zero momentum, we have a finite value for the above equation in the limit m₀ → 0, this is only possible if u → C as m₀ → 0.
8- Conclusion
Thus, in homeopathic potentized medicine the medicinal particle may be considered as massless, but only energy flows through them, and this energy is responsible for curing the natural disease.
The science behind homoeopathy is complicated and quite unclear and will not be clearly understood, until n unless proven by a physicist.
